I am a PhD candidate at the University of Greifswald in the working group of Prof. Dr. Martin Schnittler.

My research fields are molecular ecology and phylogeography. Currently, I am working with slime moulds (Myxomycetes) and club mosses (Diphasiastrum, Lycopodiaceae).

• 14 October 2025: I have successfully passed my Ph.D. oral examination (defense) at the University of Greifswald, Germany.
• 11 October 2025: A new paper "Nivicolous myxomycetes in the French Pyrenees – A biodiversity study aided by two molecular markers" to which I contributed as a co-author, has been published online.
• 27 July 2025: A new paper "First records of nivicolous myxomycetes (Amoebozoa) from Kazakhstan" to which I contributed as a co-author, has been published online.
• 21-27 June 2025: I presented an oral talk at the 16th International Congress of Protistology (ICOP/ISOP 2025), Seoul, South Korea.
• 20 June 2025: I gave an invited talk at the Ecology Seminar at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan.
• June 2025: Several independent Japanese researchers generously provided me with a collection of myxomycete fruiting bodies. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them.
• May-June 2025: I conducted field surveys of nivicolous myxomycetes and the genus Diphasiastrum in Hokkaido, Japan.
• 16-18 May 2025: I presented an oral talk at the 69th annual meeting of the Mycological Society of Japan (MSJ 2025), Chiba, Japan.
• 18 March 2025: I submitted my PhD thesis.
